Se-tenant of the Republic of Burundi (First Republic); 1968; se-tenant with a commemorative airmail stamp of the issue to the "Christmas 1968"; issue of 8 stamps + 8 se-tenants à 2 different fields (under it with one decorative text side field without nominal value) + 4 blocks à 4 different stamps (perforated, imperforate)); stamps without overprint; The depicted se-tenant is BDI Michel: No. 463AZf from 1968. The stamp shows as motive a detail of the painting „Christi Geburt“ or „La Nativité“ by Federico Baroccio (also „Barocci“ or „Fiori da Urbino“) (ca. 1535-1612); Federico Baroccio created this artwork in 1597 in the style of the Mannerism with baroque elements (= transition of the Mannerism to the baroque) and is contemporary located in the „Museo del Prado“ in Madrid (Spain).; Unfortunately this stamp was postmarked in Usumbura with an CTO with unreadable date.
