Description
English: The house Grunthalplatz 16, located directly opposite the main railway station in Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. 1847 it was built as Eisenbahnerhotel (hotel for railway workers). Todays it is a boarding house.
Deutsch: Das Gebäude Grunthalplatz 16 gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Es wurde 1847 als Eisenbahnerhotel errichtet, mit Fassadenelementen, die heute der Neorenaissance zugerechnet werden. Nach einer Sanierung ist es seit 2014 das Gästehaus Zum weißen Haus. Im Erdgeschoss befand sich einst das Restaurant Altstadtschenke, dessen Schriftzug noch an der Fassade ist.
