Summary[edit]

Description
English: Perfect Schweinshaxe (Bavarian grilled pork knuckle) at the "Hofbräuhaus" restaurant in Chiang Mai, Thailand; served together with Bratkartoffeln (potatoes fried with onions) and Sauerkraut. It is also quite well-known in Thailand nowadays where the dish is called "Kha mu Yerman" (German style pork leg) or "Kha mu Phuket" (Pork leg Phuket style). Sauerkraut would be "phak kad dong Yerman" (German style pickled cabbage) and the fried potatoes would be translated in to Thai as "phat man farang Yerman" (German style fried potatoes).
