Deutsch: Kaischuppen 50 am Bremer Kai in Kleiner Grasbrook
This is a photograph of an architectural monument.
It is on the list of cultural monuments of Hamburg, no. 13018.

Der Schuppen 50 ist neben dem Schuppen 52 am Australiakai der letzte erhaltene Kaischuppen in Holzbauweise im Hamburger Hafengebiet.
Aus derselben Zeit stammen auch Schuppen 52 und 53 des Australiakai. Dieses letzte geschlossene Kaiensemble aus der Kaiserzeit steht unter Denkmalschutz.

Zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts erforderte der gestiegene Seegüterumschlag mit immer größeren Schiffen einen umfangreichen Um- und Ausbau des Hamburger Hafens.
