Hikisch Lajossal közös irodájuk, a Schubert és Hikisch az 1880-1890-es években több budapesti épületen is együtt dolgozott, hol építészként, hol pedig mint építő kivitelezők (Andrássy út 103. – Délibáb u. 4.; Bajcsy Zsilinszky út 12-14. – József Attila u. 26.; Ferenc körút 39.; Podmaniczky u. 16.; Alkotmány u. 31. – Bajcsy Zsilinszky út 68.; Károly körút 2. – Kossuth Lajos u. 22.).
