Deutsch: Mühlsteinbruch Scherer in Perg in Oberösterreich (Austria). Mühlsteinabbau im nördlichen Teil der ~200 m langen Steinbruchwand. Zu sehen sind Mühlsteinhauer (Mühlsteinbrecher) bei der Arbeit. Im Steinbruch tätig waren nicht nur die Mühlsteinhauer-Meister und -Gesellen (oder Lehrjungen). Dazu kamen noch die Knechte und Helfer (Taglöhner). Das erklärt die nicht wenigen Personen auf dem Bild. Zusätzlich zu sehen sind im Vordergrund Besucher.
