English: Schönbrunn Palace.
Summer residence of the Habsburgs. The territory, which is a Palace from the XVI century belonged to the Habsburgs, where they built themselves a Lodge. The modern Palace was built by the architect Fischer von Erlach, who originally planned to create a "Super Versailles" with a Palace on a hill and a Grand terraced descent. But this plan was canceled, and the Palace began to be built on a more modest project in 1696. The Palace became the Imperial residence only under Maria Theresa, who liked the Palace very much. The earlier building was rebuilt by architect Nikolaus Pacassi in 1744 – 1749. In a Palace, the greatness of which is devoid of unnecessary pomp, and power of its owners – demonstrative demonstrative. In 1805 and 1809 Napoleon lived in the Palace and his son died in this building at the age of 21 in 1832. Finally, in this building spent his last days Emperor Franz Joseph.

Der moderne Palast wurde vom Architekten Fischer von Erlach gebaut, der ursprünglich hier einen «Super Versailles» mit einem Palast auf dem Hügel und einem großen terrassierten Abstieg erschaffen wollte. Aber dieser Plan wurde abgesagt, und der Palast begann im Jahr 1696 nach einem bescheideneren Projekt zu bauen. Die kaiserliche Residenz wurde nur bei Maria Theresia, die der Palast sehr gefiel.
