In her will, executed the sameyear, she mentions her own children and grandchildren, not, how-ever, her two step-daughters. To use the words of Collections of the New York HistoricalSociety, XXV., pp. 60ff., Marritje leaves to Cornelius, Timothyand Margaretta Van der Veen, children of her daughter, ElsieLeisler, by Peter Cornelis Van der Veen, each 100 guilders, inBeavers, at 8 guilders a piece. To Anna Bogardus, daughter otWm. Bogardus, 50 guilders.
