Summary[edit]

Description
English: This map of part of Idaho is from the United States Geological Survey's Earthquake Hazards Program. It shows a 30 day epicenter cluster for all earthquakes in Idaho's Sawtooth Range. Most quakes from 25 July to 24 August 2020 were in the 1s and 2s on the magnitude scale; some were in the 3s and 4s. The north-northwest to south-southeast trend of epicenters delineates a fault zone.

These represent ongoing aftershock activity from a powerful magnitude 6.5 earthquake that hit the area on 31 March 2020 (see: www.flickr.com/photos/jsjgeology/50097099277 ).
