Summary[edit]

Description
Deutsch: Nach der Überstellung der Kapelle auf eine Wiese der Pfarre Tamsweg, gilt sie als Superädifikat und ist denkmalgeschützt. Die Umzäunung wurde zum Schutz der Kapelle vor weidenen Kühen errichtet. Der ursprüngliche Standort an der Straße nach Sauerfeld und vor der Murbrücke könnte eine Station der Wallfahrer gewesen sein. Der Name Saukapelle könnte vom Volksbrauch des "Sauhaxlopfers", das man dem Hl. Leonhard dargebracht hatte, stammen. Auch heute ist sie Station an Prangtagen besonders des Bruderschaftssonntages in Tamsweg.
