Description
Español: Los Jerónimos, titulares del monasterio desde el siglo XV al XIX, mantuvieron y expandieron la fama de este hito en la ruta jacobea. A fines del siglo XVI el gran historiador jerónimo Fray José de Sigüenza narra que el día de la fiesta de San Juan de Ortega se celebra con gran concurrencia de pueblos, tantos que no hay en Europa fiesta parangonable. Detalle de la figura de San Jerónimo penitente. El estilo es similar a Felipe Vigarny.
