Summary[edit]

Description
English: Sampford Peverell: Sampford Mill. Now a private residence, the mill, centre, and mill cottage, left, are built into a dam wall which also serves as an access road to Sampford Barton. On the other side of the dam was a large millpond, now drained, which was fed by streams from Whitnage but also by a leat which ran all the way from Uplowman via Lowman Cross. It still runs.
