Summary[edit]

Description

Saltmarsh sparrow nest from Gardiner County Park Bay Shore, NY with a freshly hatched chick and 3 speckled eggs. The downy feathers of this chick are still wet from coming out of the egg recently. Nest monitoring should always be conducted by trained researchers with proper permitting.
