| Description |
English: Saltend Jetty at Sunset, Salt End, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. This is the middle portion of the Saltend Jetty. It extends several hundred metres from the Saltend chemical plant site out into the deeper water of the River Humber. A North Sea Ferry can be see at its River Humber berth a couple of miles away. To the right of that, is a 137M high chimney in Stonferry in Hull about five miles away and further right still, is a pylon which houses a radar system that monitors river traffic. |
