| Description |
The Coronation of the Virgin by two angels takes place in the Heavenly Jerusalem, God the Father is enthroned in front of the Virgin, several saints parade by and many angels play an instrument. Outside the enclosure, three kneeling donors pray for their entry into paradise: Bonnet Greyset and his wife, under the protection of Saint Catherine, and Guillaume Taillefer, who is grabbed by the sleeve by Saint Peter. Above the door to the celestial kingdom, Saint Michael with the scales, symbol of the Last Judgement. Opposite this first group, another figure under the protection of Saint John the Baptist is lifted into heaven by an angel. | ||
