English: Safety matches Deutsches Tor by Zündholzfabrik Metz, tax number 322. These matches were made between 1909 (introduction of match tax) and 1918 (Metz goes to France). The label shows a drawing of en:Germans' Gate, an old city gate in en:Metz.
Deutsch: Sicherheitsstreichhölzer Deutsches Tor der Zündholzfabrik Metz, Steuernummer 322. Diese Zündhölzer wurden zwischen 1908 (Einführung der Zündwarensteuer) und 1918 (Metz geht an Frankreich) hergestellt. Das Etikett zeigt eine Zeichnung des Deutschen Tors in de:Metz. |
