The original finding aid described this as: Description: A wide-sweeping occlusion in the South Pacific Ocean caught the eye of one of the STS-99 crew members during the 11-day Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM). The astronaut used a 70mm handheld camera to record the oblique scene.
