The original finding aid described this as: Description: STS-82 Mission Specialist Joe Tanner videotapes the approach of the Hubble Space Telescope from the flight deck (001-2). Commander Ken Bowersox looks through the Crew Optical Alignment Sight (COAS) mounted in the overhead flight deck window and uses his thumb to block the sun (003-8). Bowersox controls the movement of the orbiter using the translation hand controller (THC) at the aft flight deck station (009-10). Shadowy portrait of Hawley due to flash failure (011). Silhouette portrait of Harbaugh due to flash failure, he holds the LIDAR handheld laser range finder (012). Dark image of flight deck due to flash failure (013). Pilot Scott Horowitz controls the shuttle from the commander's forward flight deck station (014-16). Tanner takes a catnap in the middeck holding a checklist (017-18). Horowitz takes a quick snooze floating in the middeck next to the airlock hatch (019-20). Candid shots of Hawley and Steve Smith (moustache) posing for photographs together in the middeck (021-24). Horowitz does a handstand in the middeck (025-27). Smith floats close to the middeck floor (028-30). Dark view of the middeck due to flash failure (031). Lee floats in the middeck (032-34).
