The original finding aid described this as: Description: Flight deck activity during rendezvous operations with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) on this second servicing mission (HST SM-02). Mission Specialist Greg Harbaugh intently watches activity (011). Mission Specialist Steve Hawley writes notes in the aft flight deck (012-13). Commander Ken Bowersox (left, wearing baseball cap and sunglasses) consults a procedures book along with Pilot Scott Horowitz (right) (014). Portrait of both Horowitz and Bowersox (sunglasses) (015-17). Horowitz spots the telescope using a pair of binoculars (018-19). Horowitz consults the procedures manual in the commander's forward flight deck station (020). Portrait of Hawley waiting at the aft flight deck station for the telescope to come (021-23). Portrait of Bowersox holding procedures book (024-26, 030-32). Horowitz looks at the camera (027) and back at his notes (028) while seated in the commander's forward flight deck station. Harbaugh uses the handheld LIDAR laser rangefinder to measure the distance to the telescope (029, 037). Mission Specialist Joe Tanner sets up a video camera in the pilot's forward flight deck station (033).
