Summary[edit]

Description
English: A diagram of a British railway signal, a "SPAD (Signal Passed At Danger) indicator", which is a signal that activates only when a train passes a red signal. Any train that is shown the lit signal must stop immediately. The top and bottom lamps flash, while the center lamp doesn't flash, when activated. After 1996, placing the word "STOP" on the center lamp was discontinued.
