Summary[edit]

Description Two U.S. Navy SH-3H Sea Kings of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 2 (HS-2) "Golden Falcons" lower rescue swimmers to assist survivors of another SH-3H that crashed due to engine failure in the Indian Ocean on 19 October 1985. HS-2 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 9 (CVW-9) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) for a deployment to the Weatern Pacific and the Indian Ocean from 24 July to 21 December 1985.
