English: Sikorsky SH-3A Sea King helicopters of U.S. Navy helicopter anti-submarine squadron HS-2 Golden Falcons on deck of the anti-submarine aircraft carrier USS Hornet (CVS-12). HS-2 was assigned to Anti-Submarine Carrier Air Group 57 (CVSG-57) aboard the Hornet for a deployment to Vietnam from 27 March to 28 October 1967. During that deployment helicopter "54" (BuNo 149924, foreground) was lost in an operational accident on 6 July 1967. |
