Español: Este es el edificio que alberga a la Suprema Corte de Justicia dela Nación, ubicado en las calles de Corregidora, y Pino Suarez en el centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México.
En este lugar, antes de la construcción del actual edificio, hacia el año de 1624 se ubicaba un mercado de frutas y legumbres. Permaneció siendo un mercado y años después el lugar fue abandonado. En 1936 siendo presidente de la Republica Lázaro Cárdenas del Rio, se ordeno construir este edificio para albergar a los ministros de la Suprema Corte de Justicia. Desde que el edificio fue inaugurado en 1941 por el Presidente Manuel Ávila Camacho hasta nuestros días, ha sido utilizado para ese fin. |
