Ο Άγιος Αντώνιος τέλη 16ου- αρχές 17ου αιώνα, 27x35εκ. άγνωστος ζωγράφος κρητικού εργαστηρίου "Ο ΑΓ(ιος) ΑΝΤΩΝΙΟC , ΤΥΡΒΗ ΜΑΤΑΙΑ ΚΟCΜΙΚΩΝ ΦΡΟΝΤΙCΜΑΤΩΝ"

Ο άγιος Αντώνιος εικονίζεται ολόσωμος και μετωπικός να στηρίζεται στο ραβδί του και να κρατεί ειλητό με επιγραφή που αναφέρεται στη ματαιότητα των κοσμικών ενασχολήσεων: ΤΥΡΒΗ ΜΑΤΑΙΑ ΚΟCΜΙΚΩΝ ΦΡΟΝΤΙCΜΑΤΩΝ. Φοράει το ένδυμα του μεγαλόσχημου μοναχού, επενδύτη και κουκούλιο που περιβάλλει το πρόσωπό του.
