Español: Ruta normal del aminoácido fenilalanina, se observa la degradación de fenilalanina a L- Tirosina mediante la enzima Fenilalanina Hidroxilasa (PAH) y el cofactor tetrahidrobiopterina (BH4) (parte verde). La ruta del Homogentisato (parte amarilla) muestra la degradación hasta Acetil- CoA o cuando se requiere adrenalina se sigue la ruta en color Azul, ambas rutas necesitan la enzima PAH y el cofactor BH4, sin embargo, cuando alguno de estos no participa se produce el trastorno metabólico Fenilcetonuria |
