English: Ruins of center part of Pavilions 3-9 of Warsaw Citadel in years 1940-1941. Before war the building was used as a base for 30th infantry regiment of Kalinow Shooters. Building was burned in 1939 and demolished in years 1940-1943. The photo shows demolishion process judging by neat piles of bricks.
Polski: Ruiny środkowej części połączonych Pawilonów III - IX Cytadeli Warszawskiej w latach 1940-41. Przed wojna budynek był używany jako koszary 30. pułku piechoty Strzelców Kaniowskich. Budynek został spalony w 1939 roku i rozebrany w latach 1940-43 za zgodą Niemców przez polską firmę rozbiórkową. Fotografia z czasów rozbiórki sądząc po ułożonym stosie cegieł. Za stosem widać wysoki piec węglowy w kształcie beczki metalowej. |
