English: Seattle's Great Fire of June 1889 swept through the business district, leaving dramatic ruins in the ashes. This photo shows the ruins of the Yesler-Leary Building on the corner of Front Street (right - now First Avenue) and Mill Street (left - now Yesler Way). First Avenue and First Avenue South now connect at the point where the Yesler-Leary Building once stood.
