Beschrijving : Royal Netherlands Military Flying School in Jackson, Mississippi. Piloten van de ML-KNIL, onder commando van generaal-majoor L.H. van Oyen, die zijn ontsnapt uit Nederlands-Indië krijgen een opleiding in Fort Jackson, Mississippi. Een vlieger in opleiding achter het bedieningspaneel van een Link trainer. Deze trainer, een Amerikaanse uitvinding is gemonteerd op draaiende assen en hebben dezelfde instrumentenpanelen, radio en koptelefoons als echte trainingsvliegtuigen, waardoor het mogelijk is studenten vliegen te leren zonder dat zij het luchtruim moeten kiezen.
