Summary[edit]

Description
English: Hatchment bearing the soat of arms and crest of the Rothwell family, who had a liong attachment to St Helens.

Blazon: Or, two chevronels embattled azure each charged with three bezants, all between two lions rampant in chief and a lion passant guardant in base gules. Crest: A stag's head couped proper bezantee, attired or, gorged with a wreath of a fern also proper.

Motto: Fortune is the attendant of Virtue.
