Roman coin: Sestertius of Septimius Severus
Description
English: Worn Roman copper-alloy Sestertius of Septimius Severus; probably P M TR P IIII COS II P P S C (Fortuna standing left) reverse type; minted at Rome in AD 196; RIC no. 723A. On the reverse, there are four sets of three holes set in a triangle, and an additional hole in the middle. Measures 28.9mm in diameter, 3.6mm thick, and weighs 16.2g.
