Description
English: A Roman silver Denarius of Julia Maesa, AD 218-222 (Reece Period 10), Mint of Rome. RIC IV, p. 50, no. 268.

Obverse: IVLIA MAESA AVG. Draped bust right, hair braided in straight lines and tucked into large bun at back of head.

Reverse: PVDICIITIA. Pudicitia enthroned left, drawing veil with right hand, long transverse sceptre in left.
