Deutsch: Otto Rohloff: Bronze-Plakette für den Journalisten (und Justizrat) Franz Fischer (* 1847 in Warendorf, † 1904 in Berlin), den Berliner Korrespondenten (seit 1884) der Kölnischen Zeitung, einen Vertrauten des Diplomaten Friedrich August von Holstein (der „Grauen Eminenz“); auf dem Alten Friedhof Bonn. Fischer kaufte 1892 Schloss Vehn bei Sinzig (südlich der Ahr, westlich der A 61). Seine Schwester Maria lebte dort bis zu ihrem Tod 1924. Der Bildhauer und Ziseleur Otto Rohloff (* 1863 in Berlin, † 1919 in Berlin) studierte an der Kunst- und Kunstgewerbeschule in Berlin, seit 1891 war er Lehrer an der Unterrichtsanstalt des Kunstgewerbemuseums Berlin (heute Martin-Gropius-Bau). Rohloff hat 1899 im Auftrag Fischers (zu dessen 25-jährigem Jubiläum als Berlin-Korrespondent) den Kronprinzenbecher gefertigt (Bestandteil des Kölner Ratssilbers). |
