Description
English: This is a /Chaetodipus hispidus/ a coarse haired pocket mouse (Rodentia: Heteromyidae). This specimen was collected north of Ogalalla, Nebraska in 2014 and was infected with the parasite /Vexillata armandae/ shown in the next image.
