| Description |
English: Rocky sea coast, West Portland This picture is looking due west on the S edge and close to the SW corner of the grid square. The subject position is the position of the blue marker as given by GPS with stated 10ft accuracy. The photographers position was measured similarly. The tide is at its lowest point on the 24th March 2008. The E-W gridline runs from the photographer through the blue marker out to sea. The corner of the grid square is just beyond the blue marker. The separation of the two yellow markers is 15m. |
