Description: Scrapbook page consists of one photograph of the Rock Tombs at Benihasan. The annotations included on this page recount the history of the Rock Tombs at Benhasan. Transcription: 171 miles from Cairo. Benihasan is a place where much time is really needed to examine the rock tombs which date back to B.C. 2000 to B.C. 3000 [some probably older]. One sees the remarkable architectural features of the XII Dynasty, pictures of the advance guard of the Hyksos invasion. and manifold representations of domestic life of that early era.
