Summary[edit]

Description
English: Road Junction - Hill of Kilncadzow Typical for roads in Lanarkshire, the surface was always pink - as the surface was supplied from local quarries, it was usually possible up until the 1960's to know the county you were travelling because of the colour of the road surface. The main road here would similarly have been pink, but resurfacing from 1970s on has used standard (black) asphalt.
