Description
English: A South Korean Soldier from the Republic of Korea Army’s 6th Engineer Brigade guides the U.S. and South Korean boats pushing the floating pontoon as a raft across the Imjin River April 8. U.S. and South Korean Soldiers conducted a combined arms raft and bridging exercise with Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, to transport some of the U.S. Army’s heaviest armored vehicles. The Imjin River, which runs from North Korea into South Korea, was the site of numerous battles of the Korean War. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
