Description
Русский: Бионический глаз по технологии, когда видеокамера также находится на лбу, но видеосигналы передаются в микрокомпьютер размером с бумажник, который находится в кармане. Он переводит видимое изображение в набор коротких импульсов ИК (инфракрасного излучения) светодиодно-жидкокристаллического дисплея, с числом точек в несколько тысяч. Этот поток импульсов отражается от наклонного стекла, расположенного на "очках" перед глазами, проходит через хрусталик, и попадает на фотодиоды имплантата — фотосенсоры в сетчатке глаза и на "пара-центральную область" периферийного зрения[1]. Они усиливают сигнал, используя энергию от крошечной солнечной батареи, также имплантированной в радужку глаза.
