Summary[edit]
DescriptionRing Marked Stone, Warren Moor - geograph.org.uk - 235034.jpg |
English: Ring Marked Stone, Warren Moor. Further along Park Dyke from my other picture (10441) a large stone containing a double ring mark has been built into the drystone wall surmounting the older earthbank, which marked the boundary of a medieval hunting park. The ring markings are considered to be bronze age. Next to the ring marked stone to the left is another stone marked with an 'R'. This is thought to relate to the medieval boundary. |
