Right Hon[oura]bles before my sailing for Shotland I gave you an account by my pursor from the Downs how much provision I had on board and was in hope to have received y[ou]r ord[e]r for a Supply from Ipswich but I suppose my short stay (in the Rolling grounds of Harwich) was th[a]t occasion of my not having it I had a months provisions out of the Cambridge of w[hi]ch I have halfe remaining, I alsoe ordered my pursor to desire of the hon[ou]rs some blank books and Inkgwells giving him a receipt for him to Saues for soe many as he should receive, the reason I instance this to you is to avoyde all disputes w[hi]ch possibly may arise thereafter for my not observing Instrucktion in sending y[ou]r hon[ou]rs a books every month and further to let you know that I I have not since my Sayleing from t[ha]t hope been Soe long in any part of England as to reasonably expect them downe; in my Letter to M[aste]r Peyps I have given a account of Cap[tai]n Wetwangs laboring the Dutch East India Shipp w[hi]ch was droue into Ronisvo a very good and sound harbor for 500 Sayle of Shipps of the N[orth] W[es]t part of Shotland w[hi]ch is all at p[re]sent from y[ou]r hon[ou]rs Most obedient Serv[a]nt
