Description
Català: Moneda de mig ral, en plata, sense data però anterior a la pragmàtica de 1497. Seca de Toledo.
Español: Moneda de medio real, en plata, sin fecha pero anterior a la pragmática de 1497. Ceca de Toledo. Con T en la parte superior del eje. El anverso muestra el escudo de la Corona de Castilla y León mientras que el reverso contiene las iniciales de los monarcas, F et Y, bajo una corona. Leyendas: anverso “FERNANDVS:ET:HELISABET”, es decir, “Fernando e Isabel”; reverso “QOD:DEVS:CONIUNXIT:HOMO”, abreviatura de la cita bíblica en latín “Quod Deus coniunxit homo non separet” (evangelio de Mateo, capítulo 19, versículo 6).
English: Half Spanish real, in silver, undated but earlier than the 1497 decree. Minted in Toledo. Legends: observse “FERNANDVS:ET:HELISABET” i.e. “Ferdinand and Isabella”; reverse “QOD:DEVS:CONIUNXIT:HOMO”, short form of verse 6 of chapter 19 of the Gospel of Matthew “Quod Deus coniunxit homo non separet”.
