Description
English: Revox B215 cassette deck - double Dolby board after wholesale capactitor replacement. CBB21 polypropylenes, Nichicon Muse electrolytics. I took the liberty to leave the small polyesters in place. The added relay (blue, on the left edge) shorts the CMOS switch "contacts" in normal recording mode, eliminating any distortion introduced by the CMOS. The relay is normally off (contacts closed), and will be energized (contacts open) only during tape calibration, or when the MPX is selected. But who needs MPX these days?
