Description
The Fortuna (callsign NDVL) was built by Jørgen Ring Andersen (yard no. 54) in Svendborg in 1892. She was a three masted schooner. Her owners were a partnership in Svendborg led by P. Christensen. Later owners, also in Svendborg, included C.V. Petersen and a company led by R. Nielsen. In 1933 she was sold to Swedish owners and registered in Göteborg. She was then fitted with an engine and was still active in 1949, fishing in the North Atlantic. Source: jmarcussen.dk (in Danish)
