Description

Screenshot of SeaMonkey-based RetroZilla 2.2 running in Windows Me and displaying the changelog page.
Note, that this is not a screenshot of SeaMonkey proper.
Some modifications:

  • The Search button has been replaced with the Go button in Preferences;
  • The Print button has also been removed in Preferences.
  • The window titlebar has been changed to a solid color from a gradient;
  • To the lower right, the NoScript extension has been installed, but not without some tweaking:
For some reason, signed extensions cannot be installed. They can be installed into SeaMonkey, but not into RetroZilla.
  • Assume, that every extension from addons.mozilla.org is signed.
  1. Download the extension XPI separately. Rename if need be to mark it as the original;
  2. Unpack the XPI into a folder with 7-Zip or an unarchiver of choice;
  3. In the directory of the uncompressed XPI, delete the META-INF folder;
  4. Compress extant folder contents into a ZIP file;
  5. Rename the file extension from .zip to .xpi;
  6. Browse to that new XPI's location in RetroZilla, and click to install.
  • DOM Inspector is installable from Edit > Preferences > Advanced > DOM Inspector > Install button (restart may be required). That's it. No separate extension install of DOM Inspector is required, if, in the first place, the original application suite install has been custom, and DOM Inspector was checked in the installer UI.
