Description
Español: Retablo plateresco del siglo XVI procedente de la iglesia de Santa María de Peñafiel. Se encuentra expuesto en el Museo de Arte Sacro de Peñafiel, que se encuentra en la mencionada iglesia de Santa María de la localidad. El retablo fue realizado en un taller de Palencia por un seguidor de Felipe Vigarny, y en sus relieves muestra algunas escenas de la vida de la Virgen María y de algunos santos. En el relieve situado en la parte superior derecha aparece representado el martirio de Santa Catalina o de Santa Bárbara, en el que está colocado bajo el anterior el martirio de San Juan, y en el relieve de la parte inferior izquierda aparece el milagro de la Imposición de la casulla a San Ildefonso. Provincia de Valladolid, (España).
