Title
The St. Joseph Chapel in Pitz stained glass
Description

The stained glass window in the parish church of St. Sebastian in Reschen am See depicts two scenes. The upper part depicts St. Joseph. He is dressed in an antique style with a green undergarment belted at the waist. Over this he has draped a yellow cloak. In his left hand he holds a walking stick and a white flower, perhaps a gentian. At his feet sits a winged child, an angel, holding on his knees a craftsman's box with carpenter's tools. From heaven hovers another angel. His left hand points to the monogram of the Virgin Mary shining in the heavenly body (sun, moon). His gesture reveals that he assures St Joseph of the assistance of the Queen of Heaven.

The lower part depicts St Joseph's Chapel in Pitz before the flooding of 1950.
