English: Remains of old railway bridge over the Union Canal. Just this buttress on the far side, and even less on my side of the canal.
The Slamannan Railway once ended here, at Slamannan Basin. Later this bridge was built to continue the railway on to Bo'ness. There is a good history of the line at http://www.railbrit.co.uk/Slamannan_Railway/frame.htm |
