[edit]DescriptionReichsstadt Wimpfen Territorium 1725.png |
English: Detail cropped from an early 18th century map showing the small territory of the Free Imperial City of Wimpfen (in green). What is now Bad Wimpfen was then two separate towns: Wimpfen am Berg, where the town center is, and Wimpfen im Tal. The part in yellow was an enclave belonging to the Duchy of Württemberg. Cropped out of map one of a nine-map series centered on the Circle of Swabia titled Suevia Universa by Matthäus Seutter and based on information supplied by Jacques de Michal. Published c 1725-1727. |
