Description
English: Detail of a map from the 1720s showing the territory of the Free Imperial city of Rottweil, now in Baden-Württemberg. The city was surrounded by the Duchy of Württemberg (in yellow) and Austrian territory (the County of Hohenberg, belonging to the Austrian Habsburg, in deep pink), as well as by the Imperial Abbey of Rottenmünster (light pink).
Map designed by Jacques de Michal between 1725 and 1727. This detail is on map number four of a nine-map series on the Circle of Swabia titled Suevia Universal, etc.
