Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Mary Siah Recreation Center, located at 1025 14th Avenue in Fairbanks, Alaska. Originally constructed in 1950 as the Fairbanks YMCA. The building is named in honor of Mary Virginia Siah (1923–1995), who launched a campaign in the 1970s to save the facility from closure when the nearby Hamme Pool was constructed.
